These are many variations that the 5 contact accessory could be wired. Keeps the following things in mind.
- "A" and "B" are for power. (14-18 volts AC works best)
- Jumping "C" to "A" will trigger operating.
- "D" & "E" are for lights (14-18v, 18v rated bulbs)
You may trigger the operation by using an AIU, activation button, TAD, ITAD, or anything that can jump "A" to "C".
For example: You may have small children that love seeing the McDonalds
in operation, but you don't like the idea of them using your DCS
remote. You may wire the McDonalds to the AIU with the diagram above
but also wire the activation button in parallel accross "A" and "C".
Just mount the activation button down low where little fingers can
reach and it will keep them busy long enough for you to play with your
trains.
