M.T.H. Electric
Trains® Product Line
M.T.H. provides
value, quality and innovation through five different product lines:
RailKing®, RailKing One Gauge, Premier, Tinplate Traditions® and M.T.H.'s HO Line. While quality
and value have always been top priorities of the company, the product
line offerings have expanded and become more varied as the company has
grown. In fact, in the last 25 years, M.T.H. has spent more than
$50 million on new tooling so that we can continue to bring new products
to the consumer. In this short time we have released more new steam
and diesel locomotives than any of our competitors, including those
that are more than 100 years old, have in their history.
Our commitment to
providing model railroaders with models they cannot find anywhere
else shows in all five of our product lines. RailKing trains are our
most popular and least expensive offerings. These durable, traditionally-sized
trains are a bit smaller than 1:48 scale (or O scale). The more elaborate
Premier Line trains are highly detailed O scale models of real-life trains.
The Tinplate Traditions line is made up of high quality Standard
and O Gauge tinplate reproductions that made up M.T.H.'s original 1980's product line.
RailKing One Gauge captures prototypically correct 1:32 scale proportions on giant
cars and locomotives that can be operated indoors or out. And, finally, M.T.H.'s HO Line
brings forth the innovative, high tech sophistication to HO scale in ways no other
HO manufacturer can emmulate.
Our catalogs include
everything from a $1,400 high-end scale steam locomotive to affordable Ready-To-Run
sets that include train, track, and transformer, so every model train
lover can find something to enjoy. No matter which line our customers
choose, they can count on the Quality, Value, Variety, and Innovation
that are associated with the M.T.H. name.
