September 12, 2005 - RailKing One Gauge Gs2 and Gs4 steam locomotives were shipped with their polarity switch (located behind the locomotive smoke box door) in the wrong position. Users following the locomotive wiring and orientation instructions in the Gs2/Gs4 operators manual will find that the locomotive will start in reverse in conventional mode and won't respond to DCS commands in command mode.
To resolve this discrepancy, it will be necessary to slide the polarity switch as indicated in the POLARITY ADDENDUM. You will find this addendum by CLICKING HERE.
